Dr. Martini came into our Center to help with a CDC-funded assessment project. She took the lead on a study looking at what CDC authors were doing in the field of “legal epidemiology,” helping us classify the studies we found and to write up the paper: (Martini, L., Presley, D., Klieger, S., & Burris, S.
